Initiatives

Academy Creative Technology has a couple initiatives to help you with your problems or support you during hard periods. There are also initiatives outside of Saxion, find out if they're a fit for you.

Saxion organizes a few trainings and events for students that you can join. If you're interested in workshops about personal development, check the link. 

Online Meditation

Pitstop

Do you need to talk with someone about something personal or not? Every week ACT organizes the pitstop. A moment to ask anything study related or not. A moment to check in with yourself. Study coaches, a student counselor and student psychologists are present for your questions.

Free workshops: mental health subjects

With these workshops & courses from Mind & Emotions, you'll learn about mental health topics and to train yourself in relevant mental health skills like stress regulation and emotional intelligence. Click the link below to find out how to sign up and when the workshops are. 

Study association

A new study, city and perhaps the first time living on your own. If you'd like to get to know new people quickly and smoothly, a student association might be something for you. ACT has three study associations. LiNK for CMGT, CB and F&TT. Syntaxis and Pro-ACT for

HBO-ICT and Study association XP for CMGT.

Study Platform

You might not know, but Blackboard has an entire page dedicated to help you with your study. You can find tips, feedback, information, news, other initiatives and excercises to help you along. If you are not already a member of the blackboard page you can click on Enroll/Sign up on the left to sign up for the page, no password is required for this.

CHANCE

Do you want to look for purpose in life and find the route to get there? Discover it during the CHANCE process. It is not unusual that you sometimes get stuck or that you find out that you are on the wrong track. What are your talents? You can discover them here!

Students and teachers have recorded a couple podcasts about experiences, life and some more technical subjects. Find out if any catch your attention.

''Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can.” Students 4 students is a platform that focuses on promoting equality and opportunity in education, students with a non-western background are their main target group.

Diversity office

Saxion's Diversity Office offers a cozy living room-office space and an online environment where you can go for questions, for a listening ear or for inspiration. A place where you can be yourself without prejudice.

Pitstop

Every week ACT organizes the pit stop for all its students. Are your personal problems keeping you from reaching your full potential? Do you have questions about your studies or would you like to chat? Then come by! Professionals will help you and are there for you.

 

You can join us every Wednesday afternoon from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm in G3.32 at Saxion Enschede.
